The Angel consists of 31 guest rooms is the heart of the historic market town of Abergavenny. We have three categories of guestrooms within the hotel, executive (our smallest rooms), superior (middle size rooms), and deluxe (our largest rooms). The majority of rooms are within the hotel however The Mews , a former stables, is adjacent to the hotel.
As part of our House of Caradog family, our sister property, Caradog Cottages has four cottages within close proximity to The Angel Hotel. The Lodge, a Victorian house within the Abergavenny Castle grounds is a 2 minute walk from The Angel Hotel. Castle Cottage and Sugarloaf Cottage, are both lovingly restored 17th century properties, located directly across from The Angel Hotel car park. In addition, there are three country cottages, Ivy Cottage and Old Post Office Cottage, located just a 5-minute drive from Abergavenny, sit side by side and are within easy walking distance of our Michelin-starred sister property, The Walnut Tree. Pont Gilbert Cottage is another 5-minute drive from The Walnut Tree and approximately 10-15 minutes away by car from Abergavenny.
