Recommended combinations are chocolate and cream pancake with a shot of Baileys or sugar and lemon pancake with a shot of tequila for £8.60 (£5.80 without the shot).
Make a meal of it with savoury pancakes, too; fillings include ham and Gruyère in Béchamel sauce or spinach, courgette and ricotta (v). Shrove Tuesday’s pancakes are offered in addition to The Angel’s à la carte lunch and dinner menu.
