The Angel closes at 4.00pm on Christmas Eve,
the revelry will continue at the Abergavenny Hotel until 7.00pm.
The Angel will open again at 10.00am on Boxing Day.

We serve a special Luncheon Menu in the Oak Room for groups up to
six guests and in the Foxhunter Bar and Wedgewood Room
for groups up to ten guests from 12noon to 3.00pm.

For groups of ten or more guests, Christmas Eve Lunch can be enjoyed
in one of our three private dining spaces; The Cellar, Brecon Room or Ballroom.

Boxing Day
Thursday 26th December
The Angel opens its doors at 10.00am on Boxing Day, relieve the cabin fever
and strike out to join us for brunch, lunch or just a drink in the bar.
Join the scores of locals who gather to see one of Abergavenny’s long-standing Christmas traditions, the horses and hounds of the Monmouthshire Hunt meet outside the Angel Hotel at 11.00am, as they have done each Boxing Day for over 80 years. Hot drinks, including mulled wine, will be available from our stall at the front of the hotel.
The Angel is open until 4.00pm
Foxhunter Bar
Bacon and sausage sandwiches, eggs on toast and other morning snacks
are available in the Foxhunter Bar from 10.00am to 12noon.
Book a table for our three-course luncheon menu from 12noon to 3.00pm.
Oak Room and Wedgewood Room
