Dining in The Oak Room
From Saturday 24th November

Ideal for small groups of friends, families or colleagues.

The beautifully furnished Oak Room is an enchanting setting for 
entertaining over the festive period,

We offer a three-course Festive Angel Menu in the weeks
leading up to Christmas, at lunchtime from 12 noon to 2.30pm
and in the evening from 7.00pm to 9.30pm. 
Tables are available for up to eight guests.

Jerusalem artichoke soup
Sauteed chicken livers, whisky cream sauce, brioche
Smoked salmon terrine, avocado, cucumber salad
Confit duck, sprouts, kale and bacon, fondant potato, red wine jus with prunes
Honey and mustard-glazed ham hock, roast potatoes, tender stem broccoli, parsley sauce

Festive Dining In The Brecon Room

Located on the first floor and seating up to 30 guests, the
Brecon Room has an open fire, oak floor and a large bay window overlooking Cross Street.

With elegant table decorations and a dedicated team to
look after you, dining in the Brecon Room is perfect
for social gatherings, family feasts and celebrating with colleagues.

Canapés and Angel fizz
Asian-style tuna and avocado tartare
Carpaccio of beef with truffle
Baked caramelised shallot and goat's cheese tart
Fennel and chickpea soup, pesto
Ballotine of Usk Vale turkey, Savoy cabbage, sage and onion stuffing, duck fat roast potatoes
Whole baked seabass, new potatoes, brown shrimps and preserved lemon
Roast loin of venison, parmentier potato, sprout tops and girolles
Crown Prince squash gnocchi, sauteed ceps, chestnuts, nut brown butter

Served with a selection of seasonal vegetables

A decadent five-course menu is available in The Brecon Room or The Cellar. 
Our in-house sommeliers have paired each course with a specially chosen wine from
our award-winning wine list (at an additional charge, for the whole table only).
